In the wake of 9/11, many NYC students and educators were traumatized and in need of support. Our long-time colleague Linda Lantieri and a group of other educators and mental health practitioners came together to offer that support through a new organization called the I
nner Resilience Center. The center developed methods for integrating social and emotional learning with contemplative practice, and eventually reached thousands of educators and young people.
The plan was for the organization to continue for three years. But it turned out that educators everywhere were eager to learn and share the practices IRP had developed. So the center continued its work for 15 years! acheter du viagra en pharmacie sans ordonnance
Linda and her team recently decided that it was time to “gather and share our learnings” and to “honorably close” IRP by June 2017. They’re seeking funds to ensure that even as IRP closes, its thoughtfully developed resources and knowledge will continue to be shared. Please visit IRP's website to find out how you can help.
