Edgardo is responsible for the internal operations of the organization which includes Finance, Human Resources, Facilities, and IT functions of Morningside Center. Edgardo has 15 years of experience in all aspects of finance and human resources in a range of organizations with a public service mission. His experience includes financial forecasting, cost benefit analysis, Fair Labor Standards Act policies around hiring and onboarding, HR and accounting policy development, and equitable healthcare benefits development. 

Edgardo also served as an Economics Adjunct in college. Edgardo has a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Purchase, a Master’s from The New School, and an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Financial Management from Baruch College. Edgardo is a meditation practitioner, and he cofounded and cofacilitates the Sangha for Spanish speakers at Recovery Dharma, the first online Spanish speaking sobriety group using Buddhist principles.
